Disegno at LDF 2025
Throughout the 2025 London Design Festival (13-21 September) Disegno will be busy across the city, hosting a series of panel talks and events that explore different elements of contemporary design. In addition to this, we’re hosting a special party with GF Smith to celebrate the launch of our 40th issue – join us to mark the occasion!

Outside The Studio
A Discussion About Alternative Forms Of Design Practice
The designer’s studio is often described as a space for experimentation, providing an atelier from which new ideas and forms emerge freely. But what happens when designers operate outside of traditional studio setups, and instead find different models for the creation of work?
Featuring Guan Lee of Grymsdyke Farm, Seetal Solanki of Ma-tt-er and Dominic Wilcox of Little Inventors.

Setting Out the Crockery
In conversation with Max Lamb and Em Johnson of 1882 Ltd.
Join Disegno for an evening devoted to Crockery, a new ceramic seating collection developed for Gallery FUMI by Max Lamb and 1882 Ltd. The result of material experimentation, Crockery presents elemental chairs and stools that have been carved, slip-cast, fired and cooled, and which push clay to its material limits. Over the course of this evening, Lamb and Em Johnson, the director of master ceramicists 1882 Ltd., will share the story behind the collection.
