Disegno publishes print titles two times a year.
Disegno, The Journal of Design, is devoted to long-form writing and photography around design. It covers all design fields, as well as the social forces that shape, and are shaped by, the discipline. Disegno is devoted to writing and photography that highlights the political, social, environmental and industrial impact of design. It is published in spring and autumn.
Disegno regularly commissions articles and photography projects and pays for all original published work. If you would like to submit an idea, please send a detailed pitch to oli[at]disegnojournal.com.
When submitting pitches, please be as detailed as possible. For a text, please include information on subject, angle, proposed interviews and texts to be cited; for images, please include details on style and format.
