Luca Nichetto launches podcast
Opinionated is a new podcast that will place industrial designer Luca Nichetto in dialogue with studio guest (image: Nichetto Studio).
Industrial designer Luca Nichetto has announced the launch of a new monthly podcast, Opinionated.
Released on a monthly basis, the 30-minute podcast places Nichetto in dialogue with different figures from the creative field. The first episode feature Daan Roosegaarde, a Dutch designer and artist.
“Over the years, through exceptional partnerships and travel, I’ve been lucky enough to build a rich and unique network of collaborators and friends,” says Nichetto. “Opinionated is the chance to draw on these connections and create a sense of community, through enriching conversations and the assertion of different points of view.”
The podcast has been executed in collaboration with designers Studio Blanco, who have also designed Nichetto’s new website; the journalist and podcast Paolo Ferrarini; and DJ Spiller, who designed the podcast’s jingle.
“Podcasts are brilliant for both dialogue and multidisciplinarity; Opinionated, for example, is designed in collaboration with Studio Blanco, curated by writer and lecturer Paolo Ferrarini, with a jingle composed by my friend DJ Spiller and hosted by myself,” says Nichetto. “One of the main objectives of Opinionated is to express my honest and unfiltered opinion, together with friends to create a sense of community.”
The first episode of Opinionated launches on 1 July 2021.
