Holiday Hours

The time has come to punch our timecards and close the gates of the factory for the year – the Disegno team is clocking off for 2023. Happy holidays everyone!

We’ll be back at work from 2 January 2024, firing up the editorial machines to begin production on Disegno #37 (due April 2024), as well as stoking the content furnaces for a number of new projects that we’ll be able to reveal more about soon.

For now, however, coats are being donned and lights are being switched off after a busy year. 2023 has seen us publish Disegno #35 and Disegno #36, as well as launching Design Reviewed #2 and Design Reviewed #3. If you’re feeling in the mood for high-quality holiday reading, why not head over to our online store and pick up copies? All of our back issues are available there too.

While the team relaxes and recuperates, resplendent in Alpine chalets, we’ve left you well stocked with additional design content to see you through the long holiday weeks. Our digital cellars have been fully stocked with a selection of online stories, and you can also visit our creative agency Disegno Works to get a glimpse of some of projects we’ve been working on outside of our publications this past year.

Meanwhile, if you have a craving for audio, make sure to listen to some of our podcasts: this year we’ve worked with Map Project Office on Where Next?, a podcast devoted to design’s role in shaping the future of technology and infrastructure; Applied on Re-Routing the City, a series examining the way we move through urban space; and AHEC on our award-winning forestry and timber podcast Words on Wood.

Thank you to all of our subscribers for their support this year – we’re already looking forward to bringing you our new publications in 2024. And, as ever, we’e always on the look out for new projects or stories to feature in the journals. If you have any ideas or work that you’d like to suggest for any of our 2024 issues, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at submissions@disegnojournal.com.

We wish everybody a happy and healthy holiday!
